Getting
Work Automatically By Advertising On Google.

ssuming you have website, in this article I want to talk
to you about using Google to advertise your freelance
courier service to attract
courier jobs
automatically!. I think I can safely say everyone has
heard of Google the giant search engine.
But very few freelance couriers know the power of
advertising on Google. I’ll be releasing a video where I
show step-by-step how to open a Google Adwords account
and how to write ads that will appear on Google.
But let me back track and briefly give you a history
lesson on why Google became the biggest search engine in
the world even though they came after MSN and Yahoo as
well as how Google works for advertisers like you.
Google was founded by 2 college drop-outs named Larry
Page and Sergey Brim in a dorm room. To date Google is
now worth more than $80 Billion dollars. While MSN and
Yahoo all tons of information and a search box on their
home pages, Google simply put a search box and a button
on their website -- Nothing else.
They then out performed MSN and Yahoo by giving
searchers as relevant as possible information pertaining
to their search. People got frustrated searching for
things online and keep getting unrelated results. Google
aspired to change that and strive for relevance in all
their services.
This is very important to understand when creating ads
for your own website. Google will actually charge you
more for unrelated ads and someone with a relevant ad
will actually pay less. Like I said this is more of a
science and is better shown to demonstrate what I mean.
But let’s say you are based in Manchester. You have a
website and you’re all set to start taking jobs from
potential clients. You’ll open a Google account, write
an ad that reads something like this:

Manchester Courier
Services

services.

Now like I said advertising on Google is more of a
science then an art and of you understand how to
advertise your service correctly, Google can be a very
valuable source of income for your business.
But I don’t want to get into the nitty details of
constructing proper Google ads in this articles, It’s
best shown in the video on the subject so keep an eye on
your inbox for news about the video.
In this article I want to tell you about the importance
of using Google as part of your marketing efforts. So
back to the example of our freelance courier in
Manchester. You’ve got a website but you want to
advertise your service on Google.
Here’s how Google works. Every time someone is
searching for courier services Google will display your
ad and charge you per click when potential
customers click on your ad. On average you’ll pay around
12-15p per click.
This can be significantly less if you know how to
advertise effectively. But an even more targeted feature
of Google is that they Allow you to advertise ONLY in
your town or the area in which you are available for
work.
So say you can do
courier jobs
for clients in Manchester and surrounding areas, your ad
will only be displayed to searchers in your specified
target location. People searching for couriers in
Nottingham will not see your ad while people searching
for couriers in Manchester will.
This is an extremely powerful and targeted tool to use
and you can use Google to drive tons of potential
customers to your business via your website.
Once your business grows, you cam also use Goggle to
advertise your international delivery service once you
start doing that, as well as small household removals
when you decide to diversify your business services.
We’ll get into these additional services in latter
articles and videos but for now, I want you to be aware
of the power that lies in advertising on Google.
In an earlier article, I said you should be spending at
least 70% of your time marketing your service remember?
Well, if you advertise on Google, Google will allow you
to do that 24 hours a day 7 days a week with taking a
rest or making excuses.
In essence you have a sales person that markets your
business full time -- day and night. Don’t be surprised
if you start getting phone calls from people all over
your town looking for courier services. Once again,
consider that people are lazy creatures and they will
rather do a quick search online for couriers rather than
shovel through a phone book to find the number they are
looking for.
You want to make sure your website appears when they do
and you want to tell them about your business and
services once they arrive at your website.
I hope this article shed some light on the possibilities
of using Google. That’s it for today.
Thanks and to your continued
success.
